Eagles Name Former Packers QB Coach as New Offensive Coordinator
The Philadelphia Eagles have hired Sean Mannion as their new offensive coordinator, the team announced Thursday. The 33-year-old replaces Kevin Patullo, who held the position for the 2025 season. Mannion, who spent the last two seasons with the Green Bay Packers, was promoted from offensive assistant to quarterbacks coach ahead of the 2025 season. During his tenure in Green Bay, he oversaw the development of quarterback Jordan Love and played a key role in nurturing backup Malik Willis into one of the NFL’s most trusted reserve signal-callers.
Reviving a Struggling Eagles Offense
The Eagles’ offensive production plummeted dramatically in 2025. Scoring dropped from 27.2 points per game (7th in the league) to 22.3 (19th), while offensive efficiency fell from fourth to 19th. The rushing attack also declined sharply from 179 yards per game (2nd best) to 116.9 yards (18th), the lowest production marks during the Nick Sirianni era.
