Dancing with the Stars Con 2026 Announced

First-Ever Fan Convention Brings DWTS to Life in Palm Springs

Dancing with the Stars has announced its inaugural fan convention, marking a major milestone for the beloved ABC competition series. The DWTS announcement came during a Good Morning America live segment on February 10, 2026, revealing details about an unprecedented celebration of the show’s 20-year legacy.

Event Details

DWTS Con 2026 will take place from July 31 to August 2 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California. The convention will bring the ballroom to life with live dance performances, interactive panels featuring show judges and professional dancers, exclusive photo experiences, special exhibits honoring Mirrorball champions, and one-of-a-kind merchandise available only at the event.

The Good Morning America dancing with the stars segment highlighted what fans can expect across the three-day celebration. Organizers emphasized that this convention differs from the traditional DWTS tour by honoring the show’s complete history rather than focusing solely on current seasons.

Star-Studded Guest List

The dancing with the stars announcement revealed an impressive lineup of attendees. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will be present alongside numerous professional dancers including Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, and Gleb Savchenko.

Celebrity guests include JoJo Siwa, Danielle Fishel, Johnny Weir, Amanda Kloots, Ginger Zee, and Xochitl Gomez. Six former champions will headline the guest list:

  • Kristi Yamaguchi (Season 6)
  • Rumer Willis (Season 20)
  • Rashad Jennings (Season 24)
  • Hannah Brown (Season 28)
  • Xochitl Gomez (Season 32)
  • Joey Graziadei (Season 33)

Behind the Convention

The DWTS announcement emphasized that fan demand directly influenced organizers’ decision to create this full three-day convention. Emma Slater noted that fans are craving authentic, in-person experiences, particularly following Season 34’s record-breaking finale—the most-watched DWTS finale in a decade. Danielle Fishel called the event “a celebration of the legacy of the show,” highlighting how the convention will honor two decades of memorable performances and transformations that have captivated audiences nationwide.
