BTS Announces Triumphant Return with 79-Show World Tour

South Korean music group BTS has officially announced a massive 2026-2027 world tour, marking their triumphant return to live concerts. The BTS world tour will span 79 shows across 34 regions worldwide, beginning in early April 2026.

Tour Schedule and Dates

The BTS tour dates 2026 kick off with three consecutive nights in Goyang, South Korea on April 9, 11, and 12, followed by performances in Tokyo on April 17-18. The initial North American leg includes stadium shows in major US cities, with dates in Tampa (April 25-26), El Paso (May 2-3), Stanford (May 16-17), Las Vegas (May 23-24, 27), and Mexico City (May 7, 9-10).

A second run of US stadium shows is scheduled for late summer 2026, with performances in Arlington, Texas (August 15-16), Toronto (August 22-23), Chicago (August 27-28), and Los Angeles (September 1-2, 5-6). The group will continue touring through Europe in June and July, covering Madrid, Brussels, London, and Munich.

International Expansion

Fall and winter 2026 will see the BTS tour announcement come to life across South America and Asia. Tour dates include stops in Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo throughout October and November. Asian markets will be served with performances in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta from November through December.

Early 2027 will bring the BTS tour dates to Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. The group has indicated that additional dates in Japan and the Middle East will be announced at a later time.

Album Release and Tickets

The world tour supports BTS’s fifth studio album, arriving March 20, 2026. Tickets for ARMY Membership holders go on sale January 22-23 (local time), with general public sales beginning January 24 across all regions. Fans can find comprehensive information and purchase tickets at BTSWorldTourOfficial.com.

Historic Comeback

This tour represents BTS’s first extensive concert outing since 2019. The group had previously announced a hiatus in late 2022 following their “Permission to Dance” tour, during which members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service. The band reformed last year to record their new album, making this world tour a significant moment for the global fanbase known as ARMY.
